About Musica Lyrica

Musica Lyrica is built around the core duo of JoAnn Haasler, violin/viola and Floralba Vivas, piano, and is based in the northeast Milwaukee area.

Our intense musical rapport has been built during eighteen years of performing together, in duo, trio and quartet situations.

In addition, we are joined by colleagues who share our professional training, high standards and passion for music making: enabling us to form a large variety of instrumental combinations.

  • Solo - any stringed instrument or piano

  • Duo Ė any stringed instrument plus piano

  • String Duo - two violins, violin and viola or violin and Cello

  • String Trio - two violins and cello or violin, viola and cello

  • Piano Trio- violin, cello (or viola) and piano

  • String Quartet- two violins, viola and cello

In addition, most of these combinations could also include or substitute flute, clarinet, oboe, trumpet or harp.

Musica Lyrica is available as our core duo, or in any of the above combinations for chamber concerts or for special occasions such as house parties, banquets, receptions or weddings.

We would love to share our joy in music making with you!
